Getting Here...

Many of our visitors come by car. From the south of Holland it's a 7 to 8 hour journey. From the channel ports it can vary. Caen and Le Havre are less than 5 hours away, Dieppe is 5 1/4 hours and Calais is only a little further - although you may have to negotiate Paris! Other people prefer to fly to Poitiers or Limoges and hire a car. Depending upon the time of year, flights to Poitiers or Limoges leave from the following UK airports via Ryanair and Flybe airlines: Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Bournemouth, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gurnsey, Inverness, Isle of Man, Jersey, Kirkwall, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, London-Gatwick, London-Stansted, Southampton, Stornoway and Sumburgh. We also recommend taking the Eurostar from London (via Lille or Paris), or from Brussels, or you could catch the Eurolines coach service direct from Utrecht or London.

One thing is clear, Poitiers and Limoges are very accessible destinations and it's only around one hour by hire car or train to Montmorillon from there.

Some further travel options together with estimated travel times are available via this link. Lastly, courtesy of the 'Google Map' below you can see our exact location and also obtain detailed door-to-door directions via the link in the center of the map.
